Organization = Productivity

image.jpg

Have you ever heard that being more organized will help you be more productive? If you haven't then we're telling you now. This isn't something that only applies to office paperwork, it applies to your closet and everything else in your life. When you hit the floor in the morning you should know what you're going to wear to workout, what workout you're doing and what you're going to wear for the day. Something that small can have a huge impact on how your day will start out and how the rest of your day could go.

It is very important for your closet to be organized because not having to put extra thought into what you're going to wear today means that's one less thing to think about, and conquering your day-to-day tasks are all about efficiency. So take the time to put things in their proper order and watch how much smoother your day goes when you're not rushing to pick out an outfit.

All the best,

Linen Season

image.jpg

Right around this time is when you should start planning for summer wear. Linen and Mohair are excellent fabrics that work well in warmer climates and pictured above you will see a perfect example of how to wear a linen suit while maintaining a professional look. Remember that your occupation will determine wether or not you can pull this off at the office or at a business meeting, but I'm sure you already know that.

The Creation

Knowing how to put an outfit together takes vision and a bit of preparation. It all depends on the fabric, season and a person's taste and we find that many men have a hard time selecting the right fabric because they don't truly understand the process and the roll of a Style Provocateur.

Simply put: A Style Provocateur is someone who knows which fabrics you should be wearing for the right occasion and a great Style Provocateur will ask thought provoking questions to get you to understand what you're truly looking for and to help you create the perfect garment.

Here's a quick tip: Before your appointment figure out what you are looking to accomplish and why. If you need to replace a Navy suit, then do just that. If you need Summer / Spring wear for the evening, figure out your budget and what events you'll be attending that season.  Looking at fabric is great, but it can also be overwhelming, so keep it simple.

WHY SO BLUE?

We get this question the most: "What should be the first suit I should buy if I'm starting from scratch?"

Answer: A Navy or Royal Blue suit of course! Blue works with everything from gray's to earth tones and everything in between. A Blue blazer is also a must have in your wardrobe. Blue screams class, confidence and trustworthiness, a few of the characteristics you need to convey when dealing with any one or any situation. So it's okay to feel Blue when shopping for clothes because the color draws out positive emotions.
